Who we are

Moonflower Rentals was created by two sisters who share a passion for thrift stores and anything antique. Two old souls who love a good vintage haul! When we began planning our own weddings (just a little over a year apart!) we found ourselves building and collecting all the furniture and décor to make our own events shine. We knew then this passion was something we wanted to continue to explore and help other couples and planners bring their own events to life.

As a company we strive to make conscious decisions in all aspects of our business. Coming from industries that heavily contribute to climate change, we want to make sure all of our choices are positively impacting our earth and community. Reusing and upcycling pieces is one of our favorite ways to commit to a greener lifestyle.

Asheville is home and it gives us the opportunity to have the beautiful Western North Carolina mountains as the back drop for our pieces. It is a unique community filled with very talented people that we have the pleasure of working with!

Moonflower's Team

Madeline Ravenna graduated with a degree in hospitality management and has been in the luxury hotel sales and event industry for over a decade. Her high end client management and event planning experience ensures luxury service and attention to detail throughout the entire planning process. Madeline's last event management position at The Miami Beach EDITION taught her how important it is to have a strong team by your side and passion for what you are doing.

On her days off you can find her hiking a trail somewhere or strolling River Arts District with her husband and dogs. She enjoys all things organic and sustainable and thinks you can never have too many house plants!

Jillian Ravenna graduated from MIA School of Design majoring in fine arts and has spent over a decade in luxury retail. Her focus on merchandising over the years and an understanding for color theory really brings a unique touch when styling and staging our pieces. She has an eye for trends and how to incorporate them to make each event shine.

On her days off you can find her outdoors in the garden with her daughter Fiona by her side. She enjoys scowling the antique stores for the diamond in the rough and not to mention she is pretty amazing behind the sewing machine.
